Specimen Preparation: Collect blood samples in EDTA collection tubes and mix gently. Separate the Plasma from the cells by centrifuging for 10 minutes. Store plasma at 2-8°C until analysis.
Storage/Transport Temperature: CRITICAL FROZEN
Stability : Store separated plasma samples at 2° to 8°C until testing. If plasma samples are not tested within 24 hours, store samples in plastic tubes and freeze at or below -20°C in non-frost free freezers. Samples are stable up to 9 months when stored frozen at or below -20°C. Samples should be tested within 8 hours after thawing. |
